A pair goes on in the morning and stays on until the end of the day. That means a warm room, a lot of talking, and photographs at every angle. Failures show up between hours six and ten, which is exactly when most reviews have finished.
We say where each pair came from
Most pairs are bought at normal retail price. When a brand sends one, the review says so at the top, in the same size text as everything else. A sample buys a test, and nothing else.
A verdict names who a pair is wrong for
A pair that suits a round eye can sit badly on a hooded one. Every verdict says which eye shapes and which looks a pair fails on, because a recommendation with no exceptions is a recommendation you cannot use.
Affiliate links never move a rating
Some links here earn a commission. The rating is written before any link goes in, and a lower rated pair keeps its link if it is the right pair for someone. No brand sees a review before it is published.
Corrections are made in public
If something here is wrong, it gets fixed and the post carries a note saying what changed and when. Nothing is quietly edited.
